National Cleanup Day Initiative

VoX International, in an ongoing commitment to sustainability and to adopting responsible business practices recently honoured National Clean Up Day, which was celebrated earlier this month by collecting garbage in the neighbourhood surrounding Toronto’s 130 Queen’s Quay East.

A total of four bags full of garbage and two bags full of recycling were collected from the areas surrounding Sugar Beach and the Esplanade/Parliament. The event was the first opportunity for the team to volunteer in the community as part of their collaboration with Travelife, an internationally recognized training, management & certification program for sustainability in tourism. Through regular training, volunteering opportunities, awareness raising among staff and suppliers, and the implementation of sustainable policies and practices, VoX aims to become Travelife Certified by early 2022.
